IES Lund is now recruiting a Science teacher to fill in for a maternety leave during the fall semster 2023
Internationella Engelska Skolan is a truly international school. We have staff from all over the world contributing to a dynamic international atmosphere. Our schools are bilingual with up to 50% of teaching in English and follow the Swedish national curriculum.
Internationella Engelska Skolan Lund is a school for grades 4-9 with 730 students and 80 staff. It is a school where every student is seen and where you will have the opportunity to make a difference in their lives.
We are looking for a teacher who, like us, believes in giving students the opportunity to realize their full potential, whatever their background. You must also be passionate about your subjects, able to inspire your students. You have the tools to create a calm learning environment and can differentiate your teaching. You will be part of both a subject department and a yearteam (arbetslag) overseeing both the academic progress and well-being of students. We are looking for a positive and creative team player, who looks for solutions, shares ideas and is open to learn from others. The role also includes mentorship of students.
We require:
• Current teaching license/registration with relevant teaching degree from a University in any english speaking country or experince from teaching science in junior school ( mellanstadiet)
• Fluent in English and/or Swedish
