Situated in Djursholm, a beautiful suburb of Stockholm, and enjoying an excellent reputation, the British International Primary School of Stockholm (BIPSS) is a vibrant and highly successful school of over 250 children from 40 different countries. Meeting internationally recognised standards of excellence, the school is an accredited member of COBIS (the Council of British International Schools).
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, talented, inspirational and dynamic teacher with an excellent track record of raising achievement.
The ideal candidate:
Will raise achievement and deliver excellent academic outcomes
Can model excellence in the classroom
Has the training skills and experience to make a significant impact on the quality of teaching and learning
Has the initiative, energy and enthusiasm to enhance community and external performance opportunities
Is able to evaluate and improve their impact and effectiveness
Will provide an active link with other key colleagues to support the research, development, innovation and evaluation
of teaching & learning across the school
All applicants must:
be a fluent English speaker
be a fully qualified teacher (UK BEd or PGCE with relevant degree, or the equivalent recognised teaching qualifications
from other countries) with a track record of improving and having a positive impact on children's learning
have a minimum two years' teaching experience
be eligible to live and work in the EU.
This post will give the successful candidate outstanding experience as a teacher, working alongside high performing and enthusiastic colleagues. All posts are focused on delivering outstanding outcomes for all students and groups of students and realising the highest rigour and standards in pedagogy, learning, behaviour, aspiration, enjoyment, progress and attainment in ICT and Computing.
