General Information
Sigtunaskolan Humanistiska Läroverket (SSHL) is one of Sweden's most renowned schools, with its historical roots dating back to the 1920s. Located just north of Stockholm, SSHL is a boarding school that currently has just under two hundred boarders and around four hundred and fifty day students with representation from around forty five different countries. Working very much within a Swedish conception of international education, SSHL offers students two clear routes through the school; via the IB MYP and DP programme, as well as through the Swedish National Curriculum from Year 7 upwards.
Position Available
Role: IB MYP Physical and Health Education (PE) 50%
(May be able to combine with another subject if you are qualified to increase the %)
Start date: August 2016
Salary: dependent on experience
We are looking to appoint a qualified PE teacher to deliver the IB MYP PHE curriculum at SSHL. Often teaching in parallel with another MYP teacher, we are looking for a teacher with the drive and enthusiasm to really work with developing the MYP curriculum in this subject. While experience with the IB is prepared, experience working with a similar curriculum model is essential. For the right candidate, appropriate professional development will also be provided.
