After an extremely successful start and with plans to grow to 25 classes in August 2016, we are looking to expand and develop our English department. Whilst we are celebrated for our English profile, IES Kista is a bilingual working environment. We see excellence in the Swedish language as vital to our students
becoming future leaders within the local and national community.
We are looking for well qualified, enthusiastic and inspirational teacher of English, to join our successful and experienced English department. At IES Kista we want all teachers to deliver outstanding lessons in which every student is engaged and active in their learning. We provide a wide range of learning resources to support this. At IES Kista we expect the highest academic results for our students in English due to our bilingual profile and we work hard to support our students in
achieving this. An ideal candidate would have experience of preparing students for the year 6 and year 9 National Tests and an exceptional team player.
IES Kista is a school where teachers can teach, students can learn and everyone enjoys coming to school each day. All teachers have the enriching experience of being a class mentor. A pedagogical breakfast and lunch is offered free of charge to all staff, as well as a personal laptop, mobile phone and an excellent working environment, which includes staff parking and a staff gym. We are able to support those coming from outside the Stockholm region to find suitable housing if required. We welcome visits to IES Kista from all prospective applicants.
