Our students have 1:1 computers which are used in the classroom as a learning tool. We expect applicants to be in the forefront of using computers as a tool in learning for students.

1 plats(er). Kungsholmens gymnasium's International Section, where all teaching is conducted in English, is seeking a Teacher of English and History for the Natural Science and Social Science programmes. We require someone who can teach English at native speaker level.
Publiceringsdatum2015-03-18ArbetsuppgifterWe require a teacher of English and History to teach the courses within the Swedish curriculum: English 5, 6 and 7 and History 1B and History 2A.
Our teachers work in teams and in an integrated way with other subject specialists. Our teachers are also mentors for a group of students with responsibility for giving support and being the link between the school and the home.
KvalifikationerApplicants must have a teaching qualification and should have received teacher certification from Skolverket. University level studies in English and History are a requirement.
The timetable for teaching will be avialable in August.
Löneform: Månadslön. Individual salaries based on relevant experience and qualifications.
Anställningsform: Tidsbegränsad anställning.
Applications are welcome from those who have experience of working with the Swedish Curriculum in English and History. It is also an advantage if applicants have experience of mentorship with young people.
It will also be considered to be a merit if the applicant has experience of working with colleagues in cross curricular projects and enjoys working in a team of teachers.
Varaktighet: 6 månader eller längre. The post is a substitute for a teacher who is on parental leave.
Arbetstid: Dagtid. Working hours are according to the Teacher's agreement where 35 hours per week Monday to Friday are expected to be on the school premises and 10 hours per week outwith this.
