Today the school has just over 700 students, divided between day students and boarders with representation from around forty-five different countries. Working very much within a Swedish conception of international education, SSHL offers students two clear routes through the school; via the IB MYP and DP programme, as well as through the Swedish National Curriculum from Year 7 upwards. For the upcoming academic year, SSHL is seekingapplications for a Math teacherand subject leader (100%) - therole will involve working with students who are following the IB Middle YearsProgramme (MYP) and Diploma Programme (DP) as well as leading the curriculumdevelopment of subject area. Applicants should be willing to teach inboth programmes and be interested in developing coherency between the two.Experience of working with the IB is essential, preferably in both programmesand previous experience of being a subject lead is desirable. Professionally, you will holdqualified teacher status and have experience working in an independent orinternational school setting and as a person you will beresilient, flexible and structured. You will be able to develop positiverelationships with all members of the school community and you will becommitted to delivering a high quality educational experience. The desireto embrace responsibility and the capacity to adopt a solution-orientedapproach to your work is vital, as is the ability to manage time effectively.
