Teachers for IES Skellefteå

Do you want to work in an international environment in an organisation with a clear pedagogical vision? Are you enthusiastic and passionate about building a brand new IES school from the very beginning?

We are now recruiting the very best teachers to start a new IES school in Skellefteå that will open in August 2019. We are searching for qualified teachers of the following subjects to help create our fantastic working environment.

• Classroom teachers (F-3)

• Maths

• Science

• English

• Woodwork

• Home Economics

• Textiles

• Art

• PE

• Music

• Fritidspedagog / recreational pedagogue

• Fritidspersonal / Staff for Daycare Centre

We are looking for:

• Qualified, professional teachers. We require lärarlegitimation or if internationally qualified, a current teaching license/registration plus a Bachelors degree and teaching qualification. (ESL qualifications such as TEFL are not sufficient)

• Enthusiastic, committed, team-players that are willing to go the extra mile for students and colleagues.

• English or Swedish native speakers

Clearance from the police register is essential.

Internationella Engelska Skolan Skellefte will open in August 2019 and will eventually enroll students in grades F - 9. IES Skellefteå will be a school which follows the IES ethos, where high academic expectations are met and students command the English language through quality teaching and having a calm and safe learning environment with a supportive tough love approach. The school will be located in a newly renovated and furnished school building at Brännanvägen 57-59, 931 44 in Skellefteå. We are currently recruiting both teachers and other school staff.

IES provides an international and stimulating environment, where commitment, professionalism and the English language are common denominators. We work in an environment where teachers can teach and students can learn.
