TCO Development is the organisation behind TCO Certified, the leading international sustainability certification for IT products, with criteria for social and environmental responsibility. For 25 years, we have been providing solutions to reduce risk and meet sustainability challenges related to IT products. TCO Development is headquartered in Stockholm and the company has a regional presence in Asia and North America. We are offering a full-time position based in the Östermalm district in central Stockholm.

Arbetsuppgifter
In your role as Senior Writer, you will be creating copy and content for the TCO Certified sustainability certification directed at various global and regional audiences. You will be producing most types of written communications and reports in English and Swedish. The role also involves translating a range of texts. You have the ability to engage the reader in both printed and digital form and are excellent at expressing yourself in a clear and concise way that inspires action from the reader. You are skilled at creating compelling copy, easy to understand, based on complex technical source information. You will support in-house production of different types of communication materials. Since the position may entail elements of graphic and web design, we think you have an understanding of social media and an interest in transforming the written word into dynamic communication.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
The successful candidate will have some post-secondary education in communication, copywriting or a related field, and several years of experience in a similar role. You have a strong interest in global sustainable development, environmental and climate issues and human rights. You keep a close eye on changes and trends in the wider market and are ready and willing to engage in debates on global sustainability. Your spoken and written English and Swedish are at the native speaker level. Proficiency in other languages, especially German, is a plus.
You are highly driven and self-motivated with a solutions-focused mindset. You are keenly interested in and committed to social issues and are looking for a position where you can make a difference.
