Our division Propulsion & Controls (PPC) is responsible for delivering propulsion and control systems in the front edge of technology to a worldwide market. Our systems are the heart, the brain and the muscles of the train.
As a Test Lead Engineer within TCMS (Train Control and Management Systems) you are responsible for the test activities within our product team. You will establish, maintain and improve test activities in general and also lead the test activities in projects. This will be done in close cooperation with the Product Team Manager, the Product Development Lead Engineer and the Product Architect. This role also includes coordination of test activities with our site in India. Test strategies and methods for test should be aligned together with Test Lead Engineers in other product teams, both in Sweden as well as in other countries.
You will work with several projects simultaneously and you will work closely together with the project manager for each project to set individual test expectations from one project to the other. Test activities should be run according to our processes and an already established global TCMS test strategy, where one key area is to continuously work with improvement initiatives. As a Test Lead Engineer you will lead this work.
You will work with our international colleagues and must enjoy leading and planning testing according to the set processes, but at the same time see where there is potential for development of the existing test methodology.
Qualifications
As our preferred candidate you have the following qualifications:
• Master or bachelor degree in computer engineering
• Skilled in Software quality methodologies
• Documented experience from Verification and Validation activities
• Experience with DIN/ISO 9001.
• Are fluent in English and willing to learn Swedish
The following qualifications are beneficial
• Experienced and certified for development with SIL0/SIL2 products
• Experience with EN 50126 (RAMS), EN 50128 (SW applications) and EN 50129 (electronic systems)
• Hardware quality methodologies
• Knowledgeable in TCMS Visualization products
• Knowledgeable in the TCMS Product Development process
You are a self-starter and have strong communication and negotiation skills.
You are creative, have an eye for details and are well known for you analytical thinking skills.
