The position will be located in Västerås, Sweden.
Purpose of the job
The System Engineer for TCMS (Train Control & Management System) is the owner of the TCMS system in an order project, and as such responsible for all technical aspects of the system during the project life cycle. The TCMS system engineer can also hold other roles in an order project such as TCMS Safety Lead engineer and TCMS system Validator.
Key responsibilities:
• Requirements management; handle TCMS related requirements from customer to supplier in tender and order projects.
• Handle all technical activities related to the TCMS system; internal engineering and together with other functions and stakeholders.
• Supply management support and interaction with suppliers.
• Verification and validation activities (i.e. FAI, commissioning, type testing).
• Ensure correct and adequate customer documentation in both tender and order projects.
Qualifications:
• Master of Science in Electrical or Computer Science.
• Relevant previous experience in software and system engineering (at least 3 years job experience).
• Good knowledge of requirement management and concept design.
• Fluent English and Swedish language knowledge.
• Previous experience working in a multinational environment is a plus.
• Highly structured, self-driven, proactive person.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, strategical and problem solving skills.
