We are looking for a TCMS Project Engineer to be based in Västerås
Your Role:
The main purpose of the role as TCMS Project Engineer is to lead and coordinate the TCMS (Train Control & Management System) project team and ensure successful execution of the project work.
You will represent the line managers in the project and is the TCMS team?s direct interface to the Project Engineering Director. The TCMS Project Engineer is a member of the Engineering core team and provides leadership and ownership of the TCMS team deliverables.
You will have responsibility of the relationship with customers, suppliers and internal stakeholders of TCMS and also to ensure efficiency within the team when working in an international environment.
Your Challenges:
• Plan and follow up all activities in the team including resources, hours and work packages.
• Lead and support the engineers to make an efficient TCMS team that delivers on time and according to budget.
• Report the progress of the TCMS team to the Project management and the Line management.
• Manage sub-suppliers such and the relationship to other Engineering teams that deliver input to or receive output from the TCMS team.
Your Experience and Qualifications:
• Master of science in Electrical or Computer Science
• 5 years of relevant work experience
• Comprehensive experience of project management.
• Comprehensive understanding and experience from leading order projects & bids -within engineering ? preferably from automation or SW business.
• Wide experience from working in an international environment and a willingness/ability to travel.
• Swedish and English fluently spoken and written. German is merited.
• We believe you have a good ability to communicate clearly in the interface to many.
You are a lead and process driven person who work in a pro-active manner used to handling multiple priorities. In order to be successful in this position you need to have a strong accountability and a personal drive. You also need to be team oriented and as well a structured person with a good sense of order.
