Clarify the complex! In an ever changing world of rules and regulations, our advisors clarify the complexity of tax and legal issues. Our team of legal advisors focus on being flexible and agile when helping clients with their challenges in corporate law. As Sweden's leading tax practice, PwC provides the integrated tax solutions our clients need. By using the latest digital tools, we gain efficiency, automate processes and clarify the communication. We call it Tax Technology.
At our office in Jönköping about 25 employees work within Tax & Legal Services, of which three work within our Transfer Pricing practice. Within our Transfer Pricing team, we help multinational groups with planning, documenting, executing, and defending the pricing of their intra-group transactions. Our projects are of a varying nature and consist of everything from compliance projects to complex restructuring projects. Being part of our team, you will learn about different industries and build an understanding of company operations and management strategies. You will get to use and develop your skills in relation to both legal and economic analysis. Furthermore, you will work in an international context both with clients, colleagues and the PwC global network.
We are now looking for a junior colleague to join our team in Jönköping!
What we offer
Do you want to be a part of a company that invests in your future? We support career growth by encouraging continuous learning and by providing a framework for you to acquire new skills at the right time. At PwC we offer coaching, tailored training programs, and a variety of fun and challenging learning opportunities.
We want to give you the Opportunity of a Lifetime. It is our ambition that the time spent at PwC should be the best one in every employee's career, whether one stays one year or twenty. It is about the opportunity to do what is best suited to each employee's strengths, interests and career goals, and about growing as an individual, creating lasting relationships and making a difference.
Responsibilities
To really stand out and make us fit for the future in a constantly changing world, each and every one of us at PwC needs to be an authentic and inclusive leader, at all grades/levels and in all lines of service. To help us achieve this we have the PwC Professional; our global leadership development framework. It gives us a single set of expectations across our lines, geographies and career paths, and provides transparency on the skills we need as individuals to be successful and progress in our careers, now and in the future.
As an Associate, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. In this role specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
preparing documentation, reports, memorandums and communications
analysing appropriate pricing methods and compensation models
dealing with intangible property and financial transactions
benchmarking and valuations
driving projects, both internal and external work
developing and/or implementing tools, e.g. in preparing documentations, visualisations, calculation models and other tech initiatives
Preferred skills
We need to strengthen our team with a candidate who has an academic degree in Law and/or Economics. It is meritorious if you have studied tax law and/or have relevant work experience, but it is not a requirement.
To be successful in this role we want you to have a genuine interest in Transfer Pricing and consulting. Furthermore, we assume that you have a great analytical ability and excellent language skills in written and spoken Swedish and English.
We attach great importance to your personal qualities! We are looking for a driven person with a constant interest to exceed our clients' expectations. You are receptive, structured in your work and you never compromise on quality. Furthermore, you are a true team player with great ability to collaborate and communicate with both colleagues and clients. We want you to continue to grow within our organisation and develop together with PwC!
Expected joining period: As soon as possible/based on agreement
