As an Indirect Procurement Professional, you'll play a vital role in our Global Procurement Organization. Your responsibilities will include identifying new suppliers, technologies, services, and solutions, as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing suppliers. This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg.
What you'll do
In this role you will be part of Polestar's global Indirect Procurement (IDP) organization. Polestar grows continuously and we are therefore searching for New Talents within the following areas:
• Facility and Investment and CAPEX
• Brand & Marketing, Spaces (Polestar Showrooms) and Retail
• Corporate and Professional Services
You will also:
• Lead procurement strategies together with Stakeholders
• Have a close dialogue and collaboration with the stakeholders for upcoming projects, to make sure to achieve common targets
• Negotiate and maintain commercial and legal agreements.
• Follow up the key performance indicators and objectives on our Suppliers.
• Support stakeholders with procurement questions and issues
• Review purchase requisitions and identify and select contract/suppliers in accordance with defined strategies and agreements.
Who you are

• Cross functional and a global mindset
• Thorough understanding of the procurement process and strategic sourcing
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office packages
• Learn on the fly, can quickly be on top of terminology, our way of working
• Strong social abilities. Quickly understand stakeholders needs and be service minded
• Perseverance - try over and over again until we find a solution without giving up
• Positive mindset - Nothing is impossible!
• BSc (or higher) in Business, Economics or Technical discipline from a university degree or equivalent institution
