The role:
As a Design Engineer you will be a part of the Swedish design team working with design and development of custom and standard power converters of AC/DC and DC/DC types. You will be a part of a project team for product development. A good team work will be a key for successful development work.
Responsibilities:
As a member of the team be responsible for/assist in the following topics:
• analyzing and response to tender specification.
• suggesting design solutions and write technical descriptions for presentation to customer.
• estimations and calculations of development times and product costs.
• design the planned solution, evaluate prototypes and make needed adjustments.
• create needed Product documents, formal project documentation, test instructions and protocols as well as required production documents.
• provide technical support on existing products, and perform maintenance on existing products
• keep informed around news within the power management technology area
• initiate and perform needed certification and verification tests.
Documentation of test results.
• external factory production.
Who we are looking for?
We are seeking a candidate with an Analogue electronics/ Power electronic or equivalent background and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience. Preferably be familiar with AC/DC and DC/DC conversion, EMC/EMI design and measurements, Thermal design, Regulation and control design. Good knowledge in use of MS office software's, as well as CAD software. Good command in English verbally and in writing. German is a plus. Ability to work structured and independent.
