Your mission
In this position, you handle tactical purchasing decisions for local supplier agreements in alignment with our corporate guidelines. You take responsibility for the whole process - from initiating contact with new suppliers, to negotiating, implementing and following up on contracts. An important step in this is establishing good relationships with both our local sites and contractors, to make sure we utilize our contracts in the most cost-efficient and productive way. Developing and implementing purchasing strategies is another important part of the job, and you cooperate with internal stakeholders to ensure cohesiveness and efficiencyYou also take part in sourcing projects and process meetings with cross-functional teams to create powerful synergies.
This position is preferably located in Fagersta or Arboga, with the possibility to work remotely from Västerås a couple of days each week. Some travel within Europe is part of the job.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with previous experience from purchasing and a high level of self-motivation. You're driven, outgoing and negotiate agreements with a confident - yet humble - approach. Your skills in stakeholder management enables you to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers in a global, matrix organization. By taking charge of your own results and accomplishments, while making sure to share successes and best practices with your colleagues, you also contribute to the team with a high level of team spirit and engagement. Since you act both locally and in a global context, you need fluent skills in both English and Swedish.
