We're now looking for a Tactical Purchaser for direct material sourcing, specifically packing, to join our highly performing Procurement team.

About your job
In this position, your main responsibility is to secure supply from external suppliers based on company demand. You work with order and capacity management, supplier development and logistics. Moreover, you ensure alignment with category strategies and support preparations of sourcing projects and cases. You play a significant part in establishing relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers, as well as contributing and assisting in negotiations and implementation of contracts. In addition, you support the onboarding of suppliers and participate in Supplier Relationship Management activities.
You're part of a highly performing team, where we work closely together, yet have clear accountability for our own group of suppliers. We are supportive, encouraging and working friends - own opinions are expected and respected. We care for our team, our colleagues and our work.
You report to DC Purchasing Manager and work closely with other Tactical Purchasers, Global Category Managers, suppliers, global Distribution Centers and in a variety of cross-functional teams. The location for this position is somewhat flexible as we offer a hybrid work set-up with flexible hours. You can either have your base at home or at our office in Sandviken, however, we need your presence in Sandviken at least twice a week.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a relevant degree or equivalent practical experience working in a similar role. You have skills in Purchasing, Order Management, Capacity Management and Logistics. Having experience with supply of packaging, negotiations and preparing contracts, as well as an interest in sustainability, is beneficial in this role. In addition, skills in SAP, Power BI and supply chain are highly valued. Working in a global environment calls for proficiency in English and Swedish, while knowledge of other languages is a plus.
