About the job
In this role, you handle purchasing activities related to projects or initiatives in good collaboration with external and internal stakeholders. You identify, lead, and manage sourcing projects as well as negotiations with selected suppliers, according to the Seco Procurement Guidelines.
Further responsibilities include:
Establishing and following up on suppliers' agreements.
Measuring supplier performance.
Supporting issue resolution.
Being accountable for master data, with supplier and price information
Approving purchase requests when the Operational Purchaser authority is exceeded.
Cooperating with Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) units and Sandvik AB when applicable.
Identifying and proposing process improvements.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with a relevant degree in either business, economy, or a similar line of education. You also have business acumen and experience in purchasing processes as well as skills in Office 365 and clear negotiation abilities. Since we act in an international setting, you're proficient in both English and Swedish, in written and verbal form.
You have high agency and prominent interpersonal as well as communication skills - complementing this is your drive for results and willingness to adapt in an ever-changing environment.
