As a Systems Safety Engineer, you will have a central role in our projects and work closely with project managers and designers to analyze whether products are safe to use for our clients. You need to understand the clients' requirements and assure compliment to safety regulations.
Over time tasks will vary in both complexity and scope and we will together set your individual development plan according to your earlier experiences and career interests.
Key responsibilities:
• Identify and quantify risk
• Assure compliance with safety requirements
• Provide detailed reports and recommendations
• Prepare and present technical presentations
• Review documents, operational scenarios, and subsequent changes for safety impact
• Participate in associated meetings
• Aiding in aftermarket services such as ILS support, systems- and product training.
• Work with customers - ex Swedish Armed Forces, FMV
Who you are:
You have a degree in engineering, or equivalent work experience. We believe that you have some experience of both hardware and software, preferably within systems safety.
You must have the ability to independently drive matters forward in your daily work and understand the technical vocabulary used in the industry.
We also believe that you have:
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience from the defense industry or Swedish Armed Forces
Requirements:
• Min 3 years related experience.
• You are a Swedish citizen and pass our security clearance test.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills both in Swedish and in English.
• Ability to develop excellent working relationships with customers, peers, and management
• Ability to utilize Microsoft Office suite of tools to prepare reports, presentations, and charts
