hela Sverige Visa alla jobb hos Mr Green & Co Technology AB i Stockholm As a System Operations Manager at MRG Gametek, you will manage the team responsible for all aspects of the configuration and maintenance of our production platform. You will be a part of a team with other system administrators, security specialists, DBAs, project managers, DevOps engineers and together with them you will gain and share plenty of valuable experiences.
Roles and responsibilities:
• Lead IT Operations Team to ensure that they efficiently meet up with internal and external business requirements.
• Define IT Operations strategy and ensure its being executed on.
• Reach out to external suppliers and third parties to build a work relationship from an IT perspective.
• Build processes for tasks and implement a workflow for delegation and priorities.
• Develops the system architecture, application implementation plans and testing procedures.
• Choose, deploy and manage tools and technologies to build and support a robust infrastructure.
• Be responsible for identifying bottlenecks and improving performance of all our systems.
• Ensure all necessary monitoring, alerting and backup solutions are in place.
• Provide technical expertise and be the "go-to-person" for "your" responsibility area.
Formal role requirements:
• At least one year of professional experience in iGaming industry working within IT Operations team.
• 4 or more years of professional experience managing technical teams.
• 5 or more years of professional experience with Linux/Unix system administration.
• 2 or more years of professional experience with Windows system administration.
• 2 or more years of professional experience within Postgresql, Microsoft SQL Server or MySQL system administration.
• Strong network security knowledge and experience with processes and tools (including but not limited to firewalls, proxies, load balancers, SSL certificates, antimalware, IDS and IPS systems).
• 4 or more years of professional experience within mission-critical enterprise applications including support for high-availability and security.
• Industry certification in Linux distributions preferably RedHat.
• Industry certification in Big Data (Hadoop) cluster administration.
• Industry certifications such as MCPS, CCNA, RedHat, etc.
Desired skills:
• Be able to communicate your ideas well to different stakeholders.
• Knowledge within programing languages or frameworks (Ruby, Python, Javascript).
• Knowledge within agile methodologies.
• Knowledge within Microservices/REST APIs.
• Knowledge within DevOps processes and tools.
• Basic knowledge within NoSQL databases.
• Degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
