hela Sverige Product Development Unit (PDU) Cloud is responsible for the development of Cloud Products and Solutions. Network functions virtualization infrastructure (NFVI) and Cloud Native Infrastructure solution (CNIS) are the current Cloud Solutions, which are based on the PDU cloud products Ericsson Cloud Execution Environment (CEE), Ericsson Cloud Container Distribution (CCD), Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI), Operations Manager Cloud Infrastructure (OMC) together with Ericsson Orchestrator (EO) / Evolved VNF Management (EVNFM), that provides an NFV Infrastructure for our Ericsson and third party (3pp) Applications. The solutions are constantly evolving to support Cloud native introduction with 5GC and more and more distributed deployment scenarios.
We are now looking for System Managers to evolve our Cloud Infrastructure solutions, to strengthen and craft the technology evolution towards distributed Cloud solutions and containerization. We are now looking for you who are dedicated to investigating, explore and understand new technology that will help up to build creative, competitive, and innovative technical solutions using the most appropriate technology available across that area. Your role will include all systems management activities such as: requirement analysis, system design, architecture design, hardware design, software design, integration, verification, simulations, tools design, Product Lifecycle Management support and product documentation.
Based on the current demands on our solutions, we primarily want to strengthen our team with the following capabilities:
Serviceability such as upgrade, migration, service assurance, continue integration & deployment
Cloud native infrastructure solution for footprint efficient and distributed deployments
Storage integration, e.g., experience with 3pp and open-source storage integration and evaluations
Technical coordination, experience from complex system architecture and integration activities
Responsibilities:
Manage strategic technical leadership
Perform continuous analysis, requirement handling and system studies
Develop and integrate high quality products
Manage technology evolution such as customer engagement towards a distributed cloud
Manage continuous improvements of products and processes
Develop competence in technical domain
Key Qualifications:
Education: M.SC. in computer science or equivalent
Min years of experience: 5
Domain experience: Deep knowledge about Cloud, Distributed Cloud, System solution & integration, Automation, and configuration management tooling
Proficient Software technology knowledge, such as Kubernetes, OpenStack, Open Daylight, as well as general Host Operating System techniques and programming languages
Product development knowledge and Product Lifecycle Management knowledge
Experience with virtual network functions (VNFs) and cloud native functions (CNFs), both Ericsson and External is a benefit
Business understanding and customer insight
Working with people and networking
Innovating, adapting, and responding to change
Delivering results and meeting customer expectations
