Systems Engineer to Business Unit Surface Ships in Karlskrona
The position
As systems engineer you will support the proposal and project manager to map and manage general and technical customer requirements and specifications. By using established methods and best practises you will conduct requirement analysis, functional analysis, synthesis, verification and control according to the standardized systems engineering process, implemented with the DesignDataBase tool. You will also develop, document and communicate to relevant persons alternative product, project and process information structures such as WBS, PBS and DBS and provide recommendations within this area. The preparing of manuals, specifications and guidelines for performing the different sub tasks
of the Systems Engineering process with the DDB tool also comes with this position. You will also provide advice and support to DesignDataBase Superusers, line managers and IPT’s members, in order to solve problems related to different proposal and post contractual project needs. Developing the use and integration of existing CAD and planning tools is also part of your responsibilities.
Qualifications:
You have at least a Bachelor Degree in engineering or equivalent and broad experience from qualified engineering work. Experience from system implementation, leadership and working in a project/line organisation and application of Systems Engineering standards (IEEE, EIA) is a must to succeed in this position. Good knowledge and experience from working with Office as well as Systems Engineering and Requirement Management programs are required. You are fluent in spoken and written Swedish and English, German language skills are considered a merit. Marine experience, like knowledge of and experience from the Business & Economics and/or legal field is also considered a merit.
