What is the job about?
You will be the main technical responsible for our internal system LCS (Life Cycle System,) one of the most business critical services with stakeholders in practically all parts of the IFS group.

Responsibilities include:

• Installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance and troubleshooting of all the environments and systems in the area

• Technical architecture ensuring good functionality and maintainability

• Ensuring solutions from a technical perspective

• Actively work with improvements for efficiency and functionality

What qualifications should you have?
You actively seek opportunities for improvements and are agile, swift and efficient in adapting to change. You are good at identifying and understand the needs of our customers. You have deep knowledge in, and experience of working with IFS Applications.  You initiate dialog and communicate proactively. You are open-minded and easy to work with.

We think you consider yourself very experienced in the following areas:

• Concepts and principles for system administration and installation

• Architectural concepts for the IFS products and technologies

• Competence on third party products used by the IFS products and technologies, e g database servers, web servers and application servers

• Oracle Database engineering concepts and principles; including database design, performance tuning and monitoring, and security

• Installation, configuration, upgrade, maintenance and troubleshooting routines for operating systems, database management systems, web/application servers, code version control systems, device drivers and other relevant systems and application software

• Relevant programming/scripting languages and technologies

• Very good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken

The position is located in Linköping.
