The Volvo CE Technology function manages a worldwide construction equipment technology organization with over 1500 engineers, technologist, designers and other colleagues. Volvo CE Electrical and Electronic System technology platform is developing Electrical and Electronic Systems for all Volvo CE machines. It is a fast growing technology area, today globally organized in 23 different departments on 8 locations in 6 countries. A new department will be located in Braås and responsible for developing Electronic System in Haulers. You will be a part of forming the new department.
The Volvo CE product family is growing rapidly with the launch of many new products. To enable efficient development of electric and electronic systems for all different products, Volvo CE uses a common system architecture and software platform. Our challenge is to continue our leading edge and develop the platform according to our customer future needs.

Job description:
As a Systems Engineer for the complete electric and electronic system, you will contribute to transforming new or changed product needs into requirements and design, participate in requirements reviews and be a part of investigations of technical cross functional concepts. It is therefore required that you have background knowledge in electric and/or electronics, as well as understanding of the typical steps in a development process within these areas. To enhance ability to deal with complexity, reduce time to market, reduce cost and improve quality you will contribute to implement a development process where the model is the design.

Technical qualifications
Master or Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering / Computer Science or similar
Experience of model based design.
Experience of developing SW for embedded systems
Experience of typical supporting processes for development
Experience of requirement management and documentation of SW

Structured
