Kongsberg Automotive is now looking for a Systems Engineer who would like to be part of the future development of our products. We are aiming to constantly be in the forefront of our product areas.The position is based at Kongsberg's Technical Center Mullsjö Sweden.
Job profile
As a Systems Engineer you will be part of a global team working with development of electronics and mechanics for embedded automotive systems such as Shift-By-Wire systems and actuators towards major car- and truck brands. You will have an important role in the development projects, working closely with engineers from electronics, software and mechanics. You will be analysing and breaking down the customer requirements and be responsible for creating an optimal system. The work will involve close contact with colleagues, customers and suppliers worldwide.
You will have the possibility to be part of different projects aiming to develop, improve and renew our products. We offers you good terms, a creative work environment and great opportunities to develop within the company.
Candidate profile
We are looking for you with relevant academic education in the field of electronics, mechatronics or computer science and work experience from a similar role. Experience from automotive, requirement management, safety and project management is an advantage. As a person you enjoy working in team and have the ambitions of developing yourself and inspire your colleagues. Good English in writing and speech is a skill you must have, since the work will be done in an international environment.
As a person you are solution oriented and have good analytic skills. It is important that you can appreciate working both independent and in a global team. Communication skills and your ability to build a network of contacts is the key to success.
