We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our Plant Sales & Engineering team. We offer a challenging but rewarding position in one of the absolute key areas of Tetra Pak
The Plant Sales and Engineering team within Tetra Pak Processing System has responsibility for driving efficiency and effectiveness in our plant sales business. We offer continuous development of technical solutions from a functional approach as well as driving the improvement of the way we work. The knowledge is distributed globally in different networks and tools to Sales, Project Management, Process design and Automation.
This is a position where you will have the opportunity to influence the way we do customer projects globally. With us, you will be working with highly experienced colleagues both in the team and across the globe.
In the role, you will be leading the technical management work in the design of our next generation engineering platform.
Main responsibilities
• Deliver integrated, often highly complex and challenging technical solutions
• Actively contribute to the development and implementation of systems engineering work methods, e.g. within requirement management, risk management, verification & validation
Qualifications
You may have a background as experienced Engineer with the wish to rather broaden than deepen yourself; or you are a Project Manager who rather likes to focus on technical matters; or you are Technical/Line Manager with the devotion for broad development work.
To be successful in this position you have acquired technical experience within one or more Tetra Pak specific parts of the value chain. Understanding of our present project engineering platforms and/or product and technical development processes is a merit.
You possess a high level of technology interest and curiosity as well as a good business and value chain understanding. You are confident in your expertise and enjoy taking a leading role in technical discussions and problem-solving activities. You are a team player with strong communication skills and you easily build trust. You must also have the ability to deliver within a changing environment. Understanding of the Systems Engineering methodology and tools is a merit.
We believe you have a University degree within engineering or equivalent. You have 5-10 years' experience from working in an engineering or development environment.
A very good command of English, both written and oral is required.
