In brief
We are looking for a Microsoft Systems Engineer to help build, maintain, and troubleshoot our Microsoft infrastructure and environment. You demonstrate superb technical competency, delivering mission critical infrastructure and ensuring the highest levels of availability, performance, and security.
To succeed in this role, you need to thrive in hands on troubleshooting / configuration as well as communication and co-operation with important stakeholders like system owners, tech department heads and system specialists. You ensure that the systems are aligned and fulfils with Nordnets technical, regulatory, and internal requirements.
This is part of the role
You work proactively to ensure that our systems are maintained and upgraded in a proper way.
Serves as subject matter expert (SME) on the Windows Server Operating System architecture and the Active Directory Domain in a mission-critical enterprise production environments.
High proficiency in managing Microsoft cloud services (Azure Administration, M365)
High proficiency with the configuration and administration of supporting Windows system components (SCOM, Configuration Manager, PKI, Exchange, Windows Clustering).

You keep track of the new trends in your area of expertise.
We also think that you have experience from:
Virtualized platforms (VMWare)
Implementing automation and alerting related to the above technologies
Network devices (switches, routers, firewalls) is a plus
Monitor performance and maintain systems according to requirements
Develop expertise to train staff on new technologies
Build an internal technical documentation repository with references to manuals and IT policies.
