hela Sverige PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To identify input requirements (typically from a customer) and to formalize them into requirements and interface specifications. From that point the Systems Engineer supports other project stakeholders in their parts of implementing projects.
IN YOUR ROLE YOU WILL:
• Liaise with customers, safety engineers, validators, assessors and homologation authorities (Swedish, Norwegian, German) and other stakeholders.
• Maintain and follow up the hazard database for designated products, FTAs, FMECA specifications, hazard analysis and related tasks in conjunction with constructing the safety case of a product.
• Seek continuous feedback regarding the systems and subsystems used by active participation in integration, laboratory and field tests, by soliciting and receiving information and feedback about the customer/user experience and the use of systems in actual applications or by using the system himself.
• Supports other project stakeholders in their parts of implementing projects
• Bachelor degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience required
• Experience with analyzing and designing signaling systems
• Experience with the methodologies for analyzing and specifying systems including safety functions
• Experience with specification and documentation of complex technical systems
• Knowledge of railway operation procedures, knowledge in software engineering (real-time, distributed, safe and fault-tolerant systems) in the signalling context
• Ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders and to resolve conflicts
• Good knowledge and experience with general IT tools (MS Office) and job-specific IT tools (Doors, Risc Spectrum and others)
• English business fluent is mandatory for this role; Swedish and German are an added plus
• Willingness to occasional travelling mainly in Europe
