Scope of Responsibility / Expectations
Systems Engineer will develop our software product as a part of a team of developers and testers cooperating with other teams, product owners and project managers, liaising directly with system integrators and customers, when required.
System Engineer will work with everything from the graphical user interface to integration with other server systems and customized solutions, with ability view and test the work in progress on TV screen or other devices. Some international travel is required.
Responsibilities include:
• Develop robust, efficient, high quality software
• As a part of a scrum team drive continuous improvement of quality and ensure the daily tasks are completed and
• Document internal system overviews and practices
• Provide input to technical writers.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills
• A university degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or similar
• Ability to quickly grasp technical concepts and complex systems
• Deep knowledge in advanced object oriented Javascript with server communication
• Good knowledge of Java
• Experience of working in embedded environments, with client applications, SVG, XML and databases is preferred
• Experience of unit testing, test driven development, Scrum and other agile methods
• Able to work independently
• Personal drive to share knowledge and learn together
• Inquisitive and resilient
• Excellent command of English language
