YOUR RESPONSIBILITES
The Space Industry and SSC is in the beginning of an exciting journey of expansion. As Systems Engineer you will work with SSC's global ground station network, a job that comprises a variety of both challenging and interesting work tasks, spanning from reviewing technical requirements to developing and implementing new solutions and systems.
Examples of work tasks
• act as technical lead, i.e. the interface to the engineering team and provide technical guidance to project managers
• design, document and implement technical solutions for customers
• interact with customers in technical matters before and after contract
• provide input to the global technical architecture work
• drive internal improvement tasks and projects

WHO YOU ARE
At SSC we value your personal abilities and interest to contribute and develop professionally within SSC. We believe you
• have an advanced degree in Engineering or Science
• have broad experience (>3 years) from designing technical systems
• have proven ability to solve technical complex problems under stressful situations
• have the ability to solve technical complex problems
• are a skilled communicator
LOCATION
This is a permanent position with normal working hours daytime 40h/week. It is located at Esrange Space Center in Kiruna. The job includes some travel.
