The System Design Radar group within Product Unit Mission System is responsible for the system-level design of our airborne surveillance radar systems, including antenna and microwave electronics, signal processing, tracking and data fusion. The work is largely allocated and prioritized by the team members based on stakeholder input.
Managing our internal and customer requirement is a central part of the systems engineering process. We are now looking to strengthen our competence in this area.
In this role, you will be responsible for and the leader of managing, maintaining and improving the requirement management tools and processes for the systems engineering organization at PU Mission System. A major part of this work will include broadening the requirement management competence of the organization through teaching and instructing other systems engineers, including the update of course material and information models. Furthermore, you will support the organization in collecting, defining, allocating and tracing system requirements in a structured way, ensuring that the requirement specifications for our different system configurations are up to date and of expected quality.
We also expect you to spend part of your time taking on broader systems engineering tasks, such as architecture work, interface definitions, product structure and documentation, and system studies for future capabilities and functions.
Your profile
We expect you to have a M.Sc. or other equivalent experience in a relevant engineering field as well as experience in systems engineering and requirement management. You work in a structured way and enjoy close cooperation with your colleagues and sharing your knowledge and skills, including holding courses.
Experience with radar, remote sensing, C2 and data link systems is meriting, as well as hands on experience with our main requirement management tool Dimensions RM.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

Business area Surveillance whitin Saab, offers world-leading sensor technology in monitoring and decision support to protect against threats. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, C4I solutions, aviation systems and cyber security.
Product Unit (PU) Mission System has global responsibility for Saab's Airborne Early Warning and Command (AEW&C) Systems including other ISR solutions. It has offices around the world, with the largest site being Gothenburg (SE).
The PU has around 100 employees, where of 40 is working at System Design.
