We are now looking for a Systems Engineer for Interior Restraint.
The Interior Restraint Systems will become a vital function in our future autonomous, fully electric vehicle, Sango. This will require new ideas and concepts considering occupant safety. We need your competence to develop innovative and advanced Interior Restraint Systems.
You will be part of the Chapter - Interior Engineering, which is one of five Chapters belonging to the Mechanical Hardware Tribe. With us, you will have great opportunities to influence our future solutions and we will ensure that you will have opportunities to grow and take on new challenges!
You will:
- Have responsibility to develop, integrate and validate passive safety hardware (Airbags and Safety Belts)
- Have responsibility for concept studies/selections at vehicle architecture, system and component level.
- Establish and improve technical product specifications for restraint systems
- Lead technical communication with suppliers through the complete product development phase
- Be responsible for systems design from concept phase to industrialization and implementation in production
- Work together with CAE team interpreting and using analysis results to optimize the systems performance
- Collaborate internally with other engineers and technical specialists
- Keep updated on todays and future vehicle regulations for passive safety systems
Your background includes:
- Bachelor of Science or higher degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum 5 years of experiences from restraints systems/passive safety
- Experience in vehicle safety, restraint performance, module and system validation
- Ability to share her or his expertise to colleagues
- Experience from working in agile organization is meritorious
- CAD - and Team Center knowledge is meritorious
- Fluent English skills, both spoken and written
- Driver license for vehicle
