To be successful in this role, we like to see you have:

• 3-5 years documented system engineering experience in database management for Oracle, Postgres and SQL Server. Having knowledge designing, maintaining, and supporting Database infrastructure.

• Documented experience optimizing databas migration methodologies for Oracle to Oracle and Oracle to Postgres.

• Documented knowledge in system automation using Ansible and orchestrators like Ansible Tower.
• 2-4 years documented coding experience in Python. Developer mindset needed. Ability to support colleagues in mindset, methodology and code quality. Other languages are meriting.

• Experience working with Database monitoring, event management end to end is meriting.

• Experience working with Prometheus is meriting.

• General knowledge of Splunk and Observability is meriting.
• Experience working with and consuming API 's is a merit.
• You should have experience working agile and being familiar with tools like JIRA, GitHub, etc.

• Good knowledge of infrastructure engineering practices using industry standard toolsets and importance of data.

You have a technical background and preferably deep knowledge from working specifically with database management and migrations of Oracle and postgres databases. You have strong analytical and problemsolving skills and the ability to see the high-level picture as well as enjoying working with the details. You have a mature approach to handle changing priorities and communicating complex topics in a pedagogic data driven way.
We have a large footprint in IKEA managing thousands of databases. As the modernization steams ahead, we are expected to be on the forefront of keeping pace with new technologies.
