hela Sverige One of the focus areas of Ericsson in Linköping is Connected Home to which we design and implement solutions. These solutions merge together the delivery of TV, telephony and Internet services and also provide new ways to access and consume multimedia - both at home and from remote. Our development target is primarily residential gateways running embedded Linux and communication protocols such as IP, Ethernet, IPSec, WiFi, SIP and UPnP.
Description
We need to strengthen our system development team and are looking for experienced and inspired people. As System Manager, you will work close to product management as well as our own R&D. You will drive system studies in our system management team and work close to our development projects to support and ensure implementation of expected technical solutions.
Who are you?
You have a good technical knowledge of IP networking, communication protocols and Linux. Perhaps you have a background in design. Experience from real time communication, security, quality of service and embedded design is a merit. Experience from the IPTV (STB) industry is also highly relevant.
You enjoy working with customers and can provide technical solutions based on customer requirements. You are self-motivated, with the drive to solve problems and expand your knowledge.
You should also have:
A university degree or above in telecommunication, computer science or equivalent.
Experience in system management with telecommunication, IP networking and or embedded systems.
Good written and spoken English
Last but not the least - you have an interest in creating solutions that you yourself want to use when consuming multimedia in your home in the future!
