YOUR ROLE
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Systems Architect to lead a team of systems, software and test engineers that develop our software based security, networking and communication products. The role involves taking responsibility for the development and delivery of products with a high quality and within the allocated time and cost budget.
YOUR PROFILE
To succeed in this role we see that you have a technical background, like to take on the role as a leader and have a great ability for a holistic systems thinking. As a person, you need to be independent, used to taking your own initiatives and responsibility. At the same time, it is also important that you are a team player who is responsive, contributes to the team and helps out where necessary.
For this role we believe the following personal skills are required:
* Master's degree in Engineering with solid experience in a relevant field
* Experience from project and team management in a technical environment
* Sound technical background, able to lead a team of systems, software and test engineers
In addition to leadership skills, a strong background in any of the following is of significant merit:
* Software development
* Systems engineering
* IP networking
* Radio communication
* System test
* RF engineering
* Environment / EMC /EMI
Initially your focus will be on leading the development of one of our products within networking and data communication. In the long run, we see that you have the capabilities to familiarize yourself with the system work for the product in order to be able to support and take over responsibility.
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.

PU Communications is part of BU Combat Systems in Surveillance and is responsible for the design of robust solutions and infrastructure in network, radio and satellite communications. We design and implement systems in flying and land-based platforms. Our department consists of just over 90 people with operations in Arboga, Järfälla and Linköping.
