Region Europe Processes and Systems is now looking for a Systems Analyst
As a Systems Analyst you will work closely with our distribution partners, Distribution Support Centre and our suppliers to help identify, develop and implement best practice solutions in line with the European Region Strategy.
In your role as Systems Analyst you will:
Manage and/or work with special project as requested and approved by management
Provide project management support to related system implementations
Work with key- and end users to develop requirement definitions - to allow business proposals to be developed.
Specify and develop solutions to assist business users with the analysis and understanding of business information.
Develop system and functional specifications to define business systems in terms of clerical/data processing activities and data flow.
Develop and maintain system/application documentation to a standard that will enable independent understanding of the system.
Develop training plans, tools and materials to support the relevant end-user training.
Develop test plans, tools and materials to support the relevant end-user testing.
Provide business user training in support of developed and related application systems.
Take active participation in business-user group meetings in order to get an understanding of future requirements.
Qualifications:
Essential
Proven logical system and business analysis skills.
Good understanding of project management principles and processes. Knowledge of Volvo routines, systems and IS-GDP are desirable
Experience of working under pressure within fixed time-lines
Proactive and able to prioritize activities effectively.
Willing to learn new applications and techniques.
A good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Professional suite of applications.
An awareness of general database management reporting technologies – such as Microsoft SQL, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, Essbase or QlikView.
Good relational database management skills using Microsoft SQL
Strong English verbal and written communication skills, other European language(s) will be advantageous.
Willing to travel within Europe
Desirable
Extensive knowledge of IS/IT business processes and its use within a dealership environment.
Experience of Microsoft Dynamics products.
Knowledge of Web development technologies i.e. HTML, Java script, Net.Data etc.
