Your profile:
We are looking for a skilled System Analyst/Application responsible for our iSeries applications. We develop, maintain and give support for iSeries applications used by Volvo Parts, VCC and Market Companies within the Delivery to Repurchase processes.
As System Analyst you will plan, lead and coordinate the requirements work throughout a project or maintenance assignment. The System Analyst ensures that important user needs are captured and agreed upon, by making them visible and explicit to all stakeholders. The System Analyst raises awareness on how features add value to the business to help prioritize deliveries. As an Application responsible you take the responsibility for the application and its interfaces from an IT point of view and you cooperate close together with the System owner on the customer side. This is a central role which requires an ability to have a holistic view of the system environment. You will specify the solutions and be responsible for development and systems tests. Occasionally you will participate in the development and testing and support.
You will work in a maintenance team or a project within a global organization with participants from many different parts of the world.
Qualifications and skills:
• You have documented experiences as System Analyst or as Application Developer with an interest in requirement management
• You have the ability to analyze and design solutions from business requirements in close co-operation with our customers
• Good knowledge and experience of iSeries, RPG programming and SQL
• Knowledge about Volvo Systems is an advantage, as well as knowledge about Turnover, our version control tool
• You have the ability to understand the customers' business processes
• Good knowledge of requirements management methods
General qualifications and skills:
• Bachelor or Master degree in Computer Science or other required training or experience required for the specific position
• General knowledge of all aspects of the software engineering process
• Good communication and presentation skills in English and Swedish, both written and spoken
• You are a driving force with the power to take own initiatives
• You are a communicative team-player
• You have considerable social competence and should be good at expanding and maintaining personal/business networks
• Proactive and with a strong drive to continuously challenge and improve
