hela Sverige The Systems Analyst devises and designs computer system requirements for the solution of moderately difficult business problems or for segments of more complex problems, and formulates procedures for their solutions. The Systems Analyst plays a major role in the development and implementation of major systems.
The Systems Analyst is challenged with designing appropriate application systems structures which will provide a solid foundation for well-written and reliable application programs.
Principal Accountabilities
Performs necessary investigation, analysis and evaluation to determine project feasibility.
Helps to develop project cost and benefit estimates to establish project worth including the development of alternative considerations leading to recommendations for new systems or equipment installations or change to existing ones.
Advises appropriate people on the implications of existing IT systems that can be applied to a problem.
Authority
Develop project plans and schedules.
Analyze and propose system development tasks.
Develop project cost/benefits estimates.
Estimate project staffing requirements.
Prepare routine project status reports.
Position Requirements - General
• B.Sc. / M.Sc. degree in Computer Science Engineering or Information Systems required.
• Minimum three (3) years of systems design and programming work experience and additional advanced study (refer to additional requirements below)
• Familiar with state-of-the-art technology
• Major systems development and implementation experience
• Understand project management and control
• Ability to communicate ideas and problem solutions
• Ability to effectively work with people in other departments and/or outside of the enterprise
Position Requirements - Specific
• Must be able to work and reside in Stockholm, Sweden where the role is based. Some travel (including overnight and multiple days) required and includes a requirement to support incident response events (on a rotating 24x7 on call basis) including incident response deployments within Europe and incident response training in the US.
• 3+ years of documented professional development experience in large enterprise environments (preferably with a multinational publicly traded company).
• Fluency in both written and spoken English required.
Required:
• Certified Java programmer with experience in Java and Java component development in large enterprise environments.
• Integration experience with eBusiness Portals and development experience with Salesforce.com and Data.com.
Environment will be based on Unix/Linux and will also require strong RDBMS development experience preferably in a large scale MySQL deployment environment.
• Experience with J2EE, EJB, JMS, Log4J, SAS, UAT and web portal development skills. Certification in any of the above technical skill areas highly desirable.
• Experience in telecoms/communications and/or banking/finance sectors desirable.

This role requires background security clearance and skill assessment examination.
Note: Degree requirement, 3+ years experience, English language and Java certified programmer requirements are mandatory for this role. Role duration 3 year contract, renewable with six month probation period. Only candidates that provide documented proof of experience in all required areas will be considered for this role.
