www.ilpvfx.com.ILP is now looking for a Systems Administrator/Engineer for a full time position, employment to start as soon as possible.
The person we are looking will have
Required knowledge
• Good understanding of Linux (primarily RPM based).
• Debug/troubleshoot software and hardware issues on Linux/Windows/OSX workstations.
• Knowledge and practical experience of DNS, LDAP, HTTP, HTTPS, FTP, SSH, NFS, SMB, SNMP, VPN, SMTP, PXE/Kickstart.
• Experience with storage hardware management and RAID configurations.
• Experience with installing and troubleshooting sever and workstation hardware.
• Experience with VMware vSphere virtualization platform.
Bonus knowledge
• Experience with renderfarm / distributed computing systems and related software.
• Experience with Zabbix monitoring.
• Experience with Cobbler and Puppet for Linux deployment.
More bonus knowledge
• Python programming.
• Experience with 3D / 2D applications such as Maya, Nuke, Vray, Prman.
• Experience with work pipeline tools like Shotgun.
You are
• Structured, driven and independent.
• Service minded and focused on solving technical issues in a desktop and sever environment.
• Used to working with documentation.
Other expectations
• The work will occasionally involve technical maintenance work outside of regular office hours.
