Jeppesen is looking for a Systems Administrator to join our IT team
The IT Systems Administrators at Jeppesen work with server builds, application design and support, systems monitoring and storage administration.
As a member of our systems administrator team you will implement new services, servers and maintain our infrastructure. You will support and manage all systems designed by our Architecture groups to ensure that technology is always an aid, not an obstacle. You will also be an escalation point for our Helpdesk. The position has scheduled on-call support responsibilities.
To be considered for this position you must:
Have experience as a Windows Linux systems administrator, including experience of Red Hat Enterprise Linux
Have experience of the setup, maintenance and monitoring of servers and virtualization
Have an understanding of clustering, network, HPC, databases, application servers storage, and networking, TCP/IP (at some level)
Be fluent in English as you will be part of a large international corporation
It would be preferable to have:
Hardware knowledge (enterprise class hardware)
A background in support and administration in a mixed network of Linux, Mac and Windows
Programming & scripting experience
Experience of Red Hat Satellite
Ideally Experience of NetApp storage systems
This requisition is for an international, locally hired position. Relocation is not supported. Successful candidates must be able to obtain and maintain legal authorization to work in Sweden for continued employment.
