For the office in Malmö, Safegate is currently seeking a System/Project Engineer for Control Systems within the Airport environment with focus on airfield lighting and gate operations.

Job Role:
As System/Project Engineer you will mainly be operative in customer projects. You will be part of the System Engineering department which is responsible for the quality of project deliverables of all technical project tasks and assignments. When assigned to a project the System/Project Engineer reports to the Project Manager who has the ultimate responsibility.

The System/Project Engineer is responsible for the following:

Global support to regional Sales departments

• As part of the sales process you will participate in the evaluation of the technical content of tenders.
• Interface specifications towards external systems.
• System descriptions and other relevant documentation.

Global support to regional customer projects

• Co-ordination and/or production of all technical activities in assigned projects.
• Plan, schedule, perform and coordinate assigned engineering work.
• Monitor work for compliance to applicable requirements, accepted engineering practices and Safegate standards.
• Ensure effective communication, coordination and feedback in assigned projects to/from and between all other project participants.
• Monitor and ensure contract requirements are successfully fulfilled with optimum customer satisfaction.

Qualifications:

Education to university engineering degree level with software development and system design skills.

Experience of requirements management, development, system design, architecture and network environments.

Good knowledge of Operative systems, database programming and design.

At least a three-five years of experience of customer-driven development.

Experience of technical project management is considered an advantage.

It is a requirement that you speak and write English fluently and it is also advantageous if you speak Swedish and/or additional language.
