System Verification Leader - Air Induction System

At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers over the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As SYSTEM VERIFICATION LEADER (SVL) within the group Air Induction system you will be responsible for testing and verification. You will also be working with strategies when it comes to development of systems and component testing. Furthermore you will review old requirements and test methods in order to develop completely new and yet unknown ways to verify our systems. Another area we have started to explore more in detail is flow acoustics which has to do with noise and vibration. Since the SVL role also is a leading role there are good opportunities for future development within other functions. The group consists of 19 employees and is part of the section Powertrain Installation.

Job profile:

• Define and revise the test methods for the system
• Test components of the air induction system
• Execute and create necessary problem points within decided systems
• Report result from completed test activities
• Approve component supplier's test descriptions and test reports
• Create and maintain necessary test plans
• Coordinate and prioritise all verification activities for the system

Your profile:

• MSc in Mechanical-, Mechatronic engineering, Applied Physics, BSc with practical experience or equivalent
• Ability to work with several projects at a time
• Structured way of working
• Very good communication skills
• Easily connect with others
• Self motivated with a driving force
• Very good skills in English written and spoken
• Driving license
