In the role of product specialist you will be the interface between the test organizations and customers and our engineers. This means you will need to know of all technologies going in to our products, both the connectivity- and the entertainment-platform. You also need to be a master of building and maintain networks with other experts, search for information and be structured. HERE WE ARE, YOUR NEW COLLEGES
Welcome to us in the System, function and verification section of vehicle connectivity. Our section is responsible to provide framework, concepts and system knowledge for our product organization. The responsibility stretches from early phases of projects to provide test and CI environment for implementation teams as well as performing final tests in subsystem and truck. In the group of Requirement and verification lead you will join we have a responsibility to provide strategies for verification and requirements we also provide test plans, and drive improvements of the flows. It is further the responsibility of this group to receive and act as handler of all field issues being reported on our products.

Role Description
You will be part of a team of engineers skilled in different technologies together you make out a cross-functional team who between them are able to analyze any incoming issues. Today the team consist of experts in automotive communication, telecommunication, entertainment, logs, and trucks. But we now need your expertise you will be responsible for one or several of our components as well as one or several of our E2E functions. Part of the job is to make sure that our functions get prioritized by other sections at Volvo. For this you need a high technical skill to find issues. Great integrity to be able to stand your ground against others and push for quality above all else.
WHO ARE YOU?
We want you to have a solid experience from embedded industry preferable from automotive. If you have previous experience from Radio or telecommunication that is considered advantageous. You should be self-motivated and drive your own tasks. You need to be fearless when it comes to take logs in trucks and understand the results.
You have a background as an engineer in SW or electronics. And a genuine interest in helping and providing good services for others. If you have a system verification background that would be very helpful.
