We are now looking for a System Test Engineer - HIL (Hardware-In-the-Loop) for development of world class test methods. In this role, you work in a team with responsibility of designing, maintaining, and executing automated HIL tests.

Your mission
As a System Test Engineer, you 'll be involved in all phases of our products lifecycles. The majority of the work will be in new development projects and product maintenance but also in customer orders and technology development. Your mission is to develop automated test methods for HIL environment, (based on Python/Pytest, NI Veristand and Vector CANalyzer environments) and test framework functionality. You will also review and analyze requirement specifications from a test perspective and document HIL tests in test specifications and test reports. Conversion of old manual test methods into automated HIL tests and to be involved in the work to accelerate the use of simulations models of mechanics-, drivetrain-, hydraulics- and electrical systems within HIL testing.
Location and travel
This position is located in Örebro, Sweden. Occasional travel may be required.

Your profile
You have a university degree in relevant area such as mechatronics-, electrics-, hydraulics-, software engineering or similar experience. It is meritorious if you also have experience from communication interfaces such as CAN Open or CAN J1939, programming, tools from Vector or NI, or test and verification of embedded systems.
To be successful in the role you are used to interacting with people and can easily motivate and take lead with a creative and analytic mindset. With only some frames set for the mission you can work in a structured way to achieve results. You must have a good analytical ability and be a good organizer. If you are a junior engineer, you will have excellent opportunities to develop your skills with the support of engaged team colleagues. Most important of all is to have a strong interest in quality and testing. Since your work includes many local and global contacts it is required that your Swedish and English skills (verbal and written) are good.
