System Task Leader Wheels and Suspension (SU)

At RESEARCH AND DEVELOPMENT you will be a key contributor to the next generation outstanding luxury cars from Volvo. Together with other engineers over the world, you and your team will create innovative human-centric car technology that makes life less complicated and more enjoyable for people. As SYSTEM TASK LEADER - WHEELS AND SUSPENSION within the group Wheels & Tyres you will be responsible for specific projects. You will operate and manage a system within the area, which consists of several components where each component is the responsibility of a component leader. The aim of your work will be to support the component leaders when needed, see to it that the project is on time, take steps to eliminate discrepancies and report to the next level.

Our group consists of 15 people in different ages, backgrounds and experiences. The atmosphere is open and friendly and with the spirit of sharing knowledge between on another. We are constantly growing and therefore we are now looking for a new member to our team.

Job profile:
• Operate and manage meetings with component leaders
• Technically support component leaders when needed
• Prepare result points for the Design Review Meeting for decision
• Report the status of the assignment on Program Control Meeting
• Fulfill the commitment according to Time Technology Cost contract, between Chief Product Manager and Section Manager

Your profile:
• Very good analytical ability and strong in documentation
• Organized and structured in following up the work
• Excellent communication skills
• Good knowledge of English - spoken and written
• MSc in mechanical-, mechatronical-, electrical engineering or similar education
• Interest and capability to lead and inspire others
• Capacity to work independently
• Goal oriented
• Experience from the automotive industry is a strong advantage
