Toyota Material Handling Logistics Solutions is expanding their System Support team!
YOUR CHALLENGE
Toyota Material Handling Logistics Solutions (TMHLS) is expanding their support offering and will include 24/7 support, therefore we are looking for a support engineer to join their team. Together with your colleagues you will share the responsibility to cover 24/7 support, which means that you will be on call according to a set schedule.
As a System Support Engineer at TMHLS you will support their automated solutions and will be in close contact with their customers. You will collaborate with different departments within TMHLS, such as project managers, software developers and application engineers. You will perform advanced technical troubleshooting and support their customers through guidance over the phone and via remote access. You will coach the customers to solve problems that occur, and work with them to reduce the risk of similar situations, to make sure to maintain a high usability of the customer's systems. Occasional visits to customers are also part of a System Support Engineer's tasks.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
• Troubleshooting of automated systems and solutions
• Coordinate troubleshooting actions and solution implementations with several parties involved both internally and externally
• Collaborate around envisioning, planning and performing system changes as the needs of our customers evolve
• Execute updates in PLC-code
• Update processes, documentation and guidelines
YOUR PROFILE
As a person you have good communication skills and the ability to listen and build relationships. You have experience from working as a problem solver, where you take on technical problems of both lower and higher complexity. You take own initiatives and strive to develop ways of working internally and for the client, to improve usability for the client. You enjoy working towards deadlines and can work calmly and methodical under pressure. A genuine technical interest is a must.
REQUIREMENTS
A relevant university degree within the Automation area or equivalent is desirable. You have experience from working with automated solutions and you have basic knowledge and an interest in PLC programming. You like to support and coach and are comfortable with being a problem solver.
You are fluent in English, spoken as well as written, and it is also a plus if you speak another European language.
