About the position:
As a System Specialist - Windows and Storage within Net Entertainment you will be responsible for securing and stabilizing our IT environment. General duties include set up and configuration of servers, handling backups, developing knowledge of SAN as well as safeguarding the availability and performance of the Net Entertainment casino gaming service to licenses/customers. You will also participate in different kinds of projects within infrastructure, such as building entirely new environments etc.
What's your background?
You have acquired a solid knowledge of Windows and Active Directory through work experience and can easily see the "big picture" and relationships and links between different systems.
As backup is a core component of the Windows platform, experience with archiving and restoration preferably in Backup Exec, will be a core part of your competence area and knowledge.
You have a passion for working within operations. If you hold VMware VCP, VCAP, or VCDX certification it's considered a merit.
You must also have knowledge and skills within the following areas:
• WMWARE
• Storage area networks
• Knowledge of ITIL and/or Change management
• Excellent documentation skills
• Fluent in English, written and spoken
