We need to expend out team, with two "System Software Engineer", would you like to work with and help us achieve our goals?
We provide system solutions to airports all over the globe. Some solutions are tailor-made for the end customers' special needs, e.g., optimization of airport operations. ADB SAFEGATE has sold several of such customized solutions together with maintenance and service level agreements.
The mission of this job is to maintain and develop these software solutions. This can include minor adaptions of the system as per customer requirements, troubleshooting, interfacing with other software solutions, and assuring maximum up-time of the systems.
The team reports to our Service Manager Mustafa. He has a long experience within our company and gladly shares his knowledge. It is important that everyone in the group feels committed, enjoys challenges, takes responsibility and liked to work both independently as well as in teams. You will work close to Martijn, Vytautas and Dardan, who started with us as Service Engineers during past year. You will also have a close collaboration with our System Engineering department. We are a great team!

Job Description:
As a System Software Engineer, you will work with the software in our customer projects. Our product, SafeControl Apron management (SAM) is already on the market, but it is constantly evolving with new features and customization.
You will work closely with our development department in Austria, as well as our System Engineering team in Sweden who are responsible for the technical system quality.
This is a varied role where you will work with performing the initial tests in the software, installing new systems, setting up and commissioning new solutions, troubleshooting and training our customers. It is important to demonstrate good dialogue and communication between departments. You will be required to give feedback on challenges that you face in the software, as well as recommendations as to how we can improve the quality of the product. This role will require about 50-100 travel days / year.
Experience:
We are looking for someone who most likely has a Bachelor of Computer Science, Electronics, System Engineering or equivalent software training, preferably with some years of experience in systems or software development.
We see that you have knowledge about requirements management, software development, system design, architecture and network environments. You have knowledge of operating systems, database programming, design and web. It's a meritorious if you can program in C ++.
It is a requirement that you are fluent in English, verbally and in writing. It is an asset if you speak and write Swedish. Knowledge of German and/or French is also an advantage.
