hela Sverige As System Responsible for Displays, you will be working in the early parts of the projects coordinating and actively driving the development and alignment of the requirements for the displays, for example vehicle mode management, luminance and luminance control, response time, color gamut, contrast as well as the communication links, i.e. APIX, LVDS. You will also be responsible to update the requirements in the system, make sure we always use the latest version of a requirement, develop test cases for some of the requirements in vehicle and align these with the component tests. This will also include practical work in cars, such as changing components, building cables etc.
In this role you will be working in close cooperation with our technical expert and our HW-responsible. You will be a key person acting as the link between the components and the different projects, carrying the experience from one project to another. You will also be responsible to keep track of and inform the rest of the team of the legal demands affecting our group.
Required qualifications
* Master of Science in Applied Physics, Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering or equivalent working experience
* Experience from HW development
* Experience from displays and/or optics
* Requirement specification and management
* Good knowledge about distributed systems and system design
* Ability to coordinate and actively drive several teams
* Demonstrated capacity for logical analysis and problem resolution
* Structured, accurate and used to summarize and present the status of your work
* Ability to independently plan, manage and monitor your work towards set goals
* Good communication skills
* Excellent English skills, verbally and in writing
* Driver's license B (car)
Meritorious qualifications
* Knowledge from high speed video links such as LVDS, APIX etc
* General competence in electronics and mechanical design
* Experience from working with Volvo systems such as Elektra and Teamcenter
* Experience from the Volvo Product Development System
* Good knowledge about SW development
* Used to practical work
