System Responsible Switches & Comfort Electronics

As a System Responsible you will be a part of the Strategic technical development in early phases with a good opportunity to influence the next generation of switch technology and system solutions within the area of comfort electronics. You will lead a small team of system developers with the task to establish the best system solution for each car project.

Switches and Comfort electronics is developed by a section within the Electronics department. The responsibility stretches from early phases until launch of a new car. The task involves development of customer functionality, project management, hardware development, software development, and analysis & verification. The section consists of approximately 80 persons, distributed in 5 groups.

Job profile:

• You will, as System Responsible, lead the system development in early phases of the car projects.
• Lead a team of 5 System engineers in the joint effort to develop system solutions.
• Be responsible of initiating, leading and coordinating the strategic technical development within the section in order to constantly secure future technology solutions in our cars.
• Be responsible of project deliverables and the section's work during early phases of car projects.
• Lead and secure function development together with function owners at the section.
• Establish the section's project budgets in all car projects.
• Initiate and lead benchmarking activities within the section, with the focus: Scandinavian Design.
• Ensure project status report out, in order to detect and eliminate possible deviations within projects.
• Report to the section manager and have the mandate to report out the system development status in the project structure.
• You will be part of the management team within the section.

Your profile:

• University degree within engineering, preferably in Electronics/Computer Science.
• Good knowledge of english (spoken and written).
• Experience from technical product development.
• Cooperative and good communication skills.
• Structured, with the experience of summarising and presenting the current status of you work.
• Can work towards set targets and have the ability to encourage others to do so as well.
• It is meritorius if you have experience from the automotive business.
• Driver's licence
