What 's in it for you?
Engine Drives & Electrical Machines is a eight member strong team with the main task to develop the Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD), Dual Mass Flywheel, Timing Drive, Starter Motors, 48V Integrated Starter-Generator and 12V Generator for all our internal combustion engines, current as well as future projects. This means, define system requirements, designing system/components and verifying both components and system.
Together with cross-functional teams within PES, Geely, Volvo, manufacturing, purchasing, quality you will work with the latest technology to reach the future characteristics and requirements in a very exciting field.
As System Responsible (SA3) you are responsible to define and develop a balanced technical system solution which works together with adjoining system areas. Your daily work will involve leading the FEAD hardware team. You will also be a strong member of the cross-functional teams within Base Engine, Analyse & Verification, Engine Calibration and NVH.
This includes system-planning activities, technical support to component responsible and securing system quality over time. The role requires involvement in concept phase, through the sourcing process all the way to start of production.
The position is a great opportunity to use your skills and capabilities to become an expert within the system area. The cross-functional nature of the position also offers opportunities to advance your competence for adjacent system areas and your personal network.
What will you do and do you fit the profile?
You will chair and plan the SA3-meetings, lead the FEAD system team and secure delivery of agreed program content on time, at agreed cost and with high quality. You will develop and optimize the requirement's for system area, securing system quality and verification over time. You will report both in line organization and project organization when needed.
We believe you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. degree in Mechanical or other relevant engineering area. You have at least three years of experience within automotive development, preferably within Powertrain. It is meritorious if you have practical and theoretical knowledge about product development process, experience from requirement specification and product documentation. You are fluent in English, and it is a plus if you have a valid driver's license. It is meritorious if you have knowledge of the FEAD components as well as the system. In addition, it is a plus if you have experiences from leadership and can step forward when needed.

Further, you should possess high level of communication skills and teamwork capability, due to cross-functional nature of the position.
We also see that you are analytical, structured and organized, due to various documenting and planning working tasks. You have deep technical understanding of powertrain and is very much interested in new automotive technology.
